The plan has been designed to address threats to the area from storms, and to prepare for the future.Cobb County Board President Bob Bartlet said Tuesday that there`s "an increasing chance of a serious storm on the county."He said there are already concerns from neighbors about the proposed new flood wall on Highway 82, including the possibility the sandbags could fall on the highway."We need to do everything we can to stop it," Bartlet said. "But, as much as we would like to know where all the money is going, what`s going on and how that is being spent, if we can do that, then it`s done. It`s done and I`ve got to say goodbye to this issue, now, for good."Bartlet said he`s worried that the county has lost track of how much money it`s spent, because of various lawsuits and lawsuits that haven`t been served in court.County officials hope the lawsuit with the Georgia Environmental Policy Foundation is resolved soon. The lawsuit alleges the county spent more than $5 million for the project without proper environmental reviews. According to court documents, the county spent $1.25 million on flood walls at the site and nearly $350,000 for materials not required by county code. The lawsuits state there was "an absence of a cost-benefit analysis demonstrating the benefits of the project, including the benefits to property values" or the "completeness of environmental assessments" for the construction and maintenance of a flood wall.Bartlet said he hopes the lawsuit is settled soon. 바카라예스카지노 Mather vies for nationals mallee preselection Getty Images 30/33 7 September 2016 Ed Miliband and the EU referendum An audience member wears a mask depicting Britain`s Prime Minister and leader of the Conservative Party Theresa May, poses with a mock gravestone bearing the words "Hard Brexit, RIP", during a protest photocall near the entrance 10 Downing Street in central London AFP/Getty 31/33 24 September 2016 Prime Minister Theresa May meets students and staff at I.D.
